The C5 is LG’s current-generation OLED line, known for the deep blacks and per-pixel contrast that OLED does well, which matters even more once you’re talking about an 83″ panel filling a wall. If you’ve been holding off on a big-screen OLED because of the price tag, this is the kind of markdown that makes the jump feel more reasonable.
This is a great fit if you want a genuine home theater centerpiece and have the wall space (and doorway) to get an 83″ TV into your living room. It’s less of a fit if you just want a simple bedroom or kitchen TV – this size is a commitment.
